white-furred baby harp seal,
youthful face so full of zeal!
with your beady eyes so dark and black;
warmth is something you certainly do lack!
sittin' on the ice floe so vulnerable and small;
it seems that you won't live long at all!
hunters come, crave your soft, white fur;
their cruelty towards you is soon unfurled!
they clube you to death, hit you in the head,
and immediately, you lie there, stone-cold dead.
not fair, i say--you DESERVE to live--
you might be a seal, but you have a lot to give!!
