I REALLY got to say,
I enjoy what Jerry writes everyday,
He runs the gamut from wrong to right,
But I saw this picture and I had to this write…

The doc says just one glass a day,

Keeps old age and creaking bones at bay,

The doc himself did this glass prescribe,

He did not even have to of him bribe…J

Jerry does though get his exercise,

He walks his dog that is little in size,

Each morning just after he does rise,

Hey, what’s one glass of wine,

It’s better than eating greasy French fries…J

So, to Jerry I do say,

Keep doin’ what you’re doin’ everyday,

I think it truly keeps you young,

I wish I could do the same,

As you climb the ladder of life,

Rung by rung…J

If I had a glass like that, would need help to lift it or splat! I might get a bit sloshed but life would feel posh, and my health would not give a rat's ... Nice party you started there Ed! Thanks. Be well, Kathy

The wineglass says that all. The tale you tell of Jerry is mighty tall, as he so kindly points out. No need for you to pout, just follow the instructions that the doctor points out. And you too, can be a nonalcoholic wine drinker just like the rest of us–at least that's what we keep telling ourselves. ;-)Đ

Hey! Hey! Hey! Ed, man ya did me good. Thanks for putting me on display in such a positive way. I drink more than they say I should, and I exercise more than you mentioned, maybe they balance out. Besides walking the mutt I put in two miles steady walking a day, a mile in the morning, a mile in the evening at the civic center, which has twenty-seven, yes! twenty-seven steep damn stairs to climb to get to where I can walk. I've been doing so good my doctor remarked about it, I just told her I've sold my soul to the devil. Hah!

Cute Ed lol, however it is a fact that yes wine
is good for you!

Scientific research indicates the polyphenols found
in red wines offer significant antioxidant protection.
This translates to chemicals found in red wines, have
the potential to overcome free radicals that are bound
and determined to cause cellular damage, which is a
root cause of various forms of cancer and heart disease.

And, if you are a re-covering alcoholic (for those that are)
these same can be found in grape juice.

Love and Light

Very cute poem :)
