in the midnight hour
moving slowly to the soft jazz notes
your eyes closed
understanding my overpowering love
your hips swaying, mouth on my neck
we press into each other
your fingernails dance up and down my spine
you are the gentle touch
stroking Yardbird's deep notes into my flesh
in the midnight hour
prelude to jazz 'n loving you

As a Prelude is originally the warming up for musicians for a Suite, we can only imagine how beautiful this Suite has been as the Prelude is wonderful already
A beautiful vision Jerry

Jerry, you expressed the intimacy of dancing to great music you love with someone you love in universal way, exuding romance in a few short lines...Job well done! Be well, Kathy

I can just see this couple all alone
dancing with the stars as their canopy
completely enveloped into each other
to the musical rhythm prelude to love

What a lovely vision Jerry!
