Always Knowing Why

Do you hear the echos
In the corridors
Of your mind
Do you sweep
Away the past
Pretending it didn't exist
Do you just love
To get by
Never thinking why
Let the echos subside
Put some of your past
In a dustpan-
For rainy days
Love from your heart
Always knowing why...

:) knowing why, the way to live

We need to let go of the past that is unbecoming to us,
until we do, we cannot move forward. So the dust pan
must be dumped cleaned off and move forward

Well done Deborah

This is a crunchy-good write, Deborah. Dustpan for rainy days is great, because it gives us permission to look at them 'on rainy days' when we might need or want to be sad or melancholy. Your last two lines are smashing. Knowing why....what a certitude to treasure. Thank you. ~~ Diana
