Forever Falling

I dreamed I knew you. Not in the way you graced the cover of Time Magazine but in the literal sense.

In the biblical sense I savored your flesh and felt your subtle rise in temperature. I rode the waves of your passion crashing softly on satin shores. I knew you.

I traced the smile lines at the corner of your left eye to the root of a single gray hair. I fed on the nectar of your pores. The sweet and salty beads quenched my lonely thirst and for a moment time stood still.

The world was ours.

You held me until I stretched and turned leaving you alone on the head of a pin. Now in my forever falling it is not the ground I fear.

A sensitive and delicate poetic piece. Experiencing life can be a risky business. But we all live through it. It's much softer with our Biblical Sensors open. There is really nothing new under the sun.

Peace, love and Blessings,

very down to earth and physical - intimate details expressed in a tasteful relate-able way. Does sound like the start of a great novel! ~Zach

No, I doubt that it is the ground you fear, it is the foreverness of remembrance.

really enjoyed this, never did you stray from the intent, particularly enjoyed how you initiated the set up and transitioned into such an asthetic recount,..also killer ending, well played.

Yet another wonderful poem..."softly on satin shores" Love it. One of those 'falling dreams' we don't want to wake up from.

I'm a big fan of your poetry, Janna.
