A prosetry exploration with the country’s leadership in a shambles. Elections carried forth for the right reasons in all branches this fall seem destined to become a joke. Where might the awakening reside?

Ghost Town Ghosts

Hi there

Looking for something?

Thus the tumble weed scurries to the side

Dust storms linger but little

Moonlight grabs a cloud

Time of the past

Protects its domain

It’s barber remains at the clipping stance

The sheriff stands gripping the Winchester

The most lively miscreant

Knows his wrath

Still

The inquisitorial century drives forth

Pirelli sport tires cruise through the dust

Lear Jets land on any and all they wish

Satellite flyovers continue seeking out the obvious

Forgetting

Ghost town Ghosts

Retain history

A wild west that is determined to repeat itself

Even as LA premiers lure the ignorant

Silicone Valley tries to hold some modicum of integrity

Political fund raisers in La Vegas

Give temporary importance to the other kind of money

Money that has only one desire

To make more…

Future ghost towns will be

Hopefully without the present to remind us…

Argument Alert:  Are we but Whores?
