| I miss him too, very much as I considered him something of a mentor in my fledgling beginnings. I used to smoke (actually chew on) cigars but after 20 years decided it was time to quit. It's been 20 years since I drank Coors too which I also gave up because you are so right....it is crap. Still love real beer though. Patrick |

Belle, what a great tribute...gotta agree on the cigar, and I'd
probably exchange the coors for a heinikin. This work taints of
shades of Hemingway...well done.
Cheers,

Has it really been two years now?
I think of him often as well.
Always ready with a quip review or poetry over the full spectrum from frivolously fun to seriously classic.
I do miss him, but as Georg himself would say, "Better him than Me."
Love,
Walt |

Ha, ha! I'm with you. I certainly don't like beer and that a good cigar tastes like I'm in a burning apartment about to be asphyxiated with something by the end of my tongue.
Still, the romantic image of the Colonel lives on.
