Legitimate Rape Is An Abomination

Political men role models, who speak out for women.

Saying there is legitimacy in some forms of rape

That these women do not get pregnant needing abortions

That maybe, being on birth control, lowers the offence.

A Republican platform states there will be no abortions

Taking a Catholic stand that promotes total abstinence

While eliminating social programs promoting birth control

That women conceiving have less rights than the unborn child.

Republicans saying incest, illegitimate rape, and a mother’s risk

Does not justify aborting the fetus, even to save the woman.

That if one must succumb then, possibly both will have to die.

Doctors will have no choice in pregnant life and death situations.

What kind of insanity are these right wing political zealots

That would take us back to the Dark Ages in Women’s Rights.

Let these self righteous men do some hard time incarceration

And God forbid feel the Legitimate Rape of Sodom Abomination.
