Inside The Poets Head

Poems can have different meanings

And are not always clear cut.

Poets at times try to hide them,

Using a mask with their words.

But the descerning reader

Can spot them right away.

This is the beauty in comments

When you get inside the poets head.

Agree to disagree? George...
For can one truly know behind
all the words...as just one
word or phrase can take on
one's personal thoughts with
a different meaning believed.

sometimes the ruse is intentional, not necessarily to be esoteric as much as to shelter our true emotions from th pain of truth - a wise observation from a wise man George - I bid you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

The only way you're going to get inside my head, this poet's head, is to use a saw and scalpel. And I don't like that! ;-)

I can't always spot them, George. I try not to hid thins in my poetry, but I know I have, on occasion, done just that.

Yes it is George, you are so right
Although I often write through music
music inspires me most often. Or perhaps
a recalled memory or situation, and even
my training in psychology creates images
for me to write about. Sometimes others
do too. So to try to access me can often
times be difficult leaving my readers
wondering :)

Very good write to questioning minds

Love and Light
