Veteran Wound Depressions

Sail my Veteran heart over rough, tough terrain

Upon soldiers scars becoming open wounds in pain,

Festering lesions of swelling blisters on legs that rains,

With water retention that gravitate down with stains.

Blood pressure medicine with water pills medication,

Cholesterol and diabetes tablet solution prescriptions,

Wearing deep depressions that reigns inside isolation,

When one’s weight increases within inactive desolation.

That desperation that resides in the shadows of needs

Where one’s seeks support for moisture sweat beads,

In eating one gets clammy sharing living suicide creeds

Of prayer’s N)ever U)nder T)yranny S)urrender deeds.

That has faith in Veteran’s Administration miracle care

Doctors, nurses, VA professionals being dedicated affairs

That serve Veterans by giving the very best medical repair

Healing wounds that bear America’s Armed forces welfare.
