All is calm and worthy of rejoicing.

A calm rolled in tonight
Over the cares and woes
Vanishing them from sight
Rising above the lows

Let's dance and clap our hands
We'll twirl and jump for joy
The madness driven out
As sweat drips from
Our bodies

A calm rolled in tonight
So thick no one could see
Wishing I may or might
Be all that I might be

Barefoot upon white sands
Breathe in the evening air
Scatter flow'r petals 'bout
We sing and drum
Of myst'ries

Has a frenetic energy quality to it which juxtaposes the descriptions of calm. Reminds me of a good exercise bout, or when one has done something cathartic, and then, as you so well state, "a calm rolled in tonight." Love this.

Somehow, I just can't equate sweat dripping from my body with calm!
That said, it's an interesting poem, and I like your descriptive words about the calm rolling in.

Calm is what we live for
something that removes storms
from our lives. As long as
this is not the calm before the storm.

Let it be the calm of inner peace

this calm is a wonderful feeling you have portrayed

Ah, Jane the calm that is here where I sit is the old "calm before the store," because Issac is still in the gulf and bearing down on us.
