Courtyard of My Ambience

Sad the vacancy I wait for
you my long lost captain of
the sea

In our garden court
from whence you left
so very long ago I am
adrift in the fragrances
you so lovingly planted

Amiss yet experiencing
metaphorical changing of
the guard as one phase
is over yet the next one
hasn't begun as I wait

Planting details of your
image in my mind's eye
manifesting into dreams
while my love remains
paramount in remission
until your virtual return

There is some really great imagery in this, "adrift in the fragrances" is inspired. You have maintained the thematic threads all the way through the piece. a fine piece of writing.

I sense some lost contact sailing the seas of the ethernet. Like the love of a sailor on the sea for years, patiently waiting for him to surf back.

You are becoming quite a wordsmith, mixing words as an artist mixes colors to create a surreal world as seen by no one other before you. A world of your own creation.

Ah, I live among the courtyards of New Orleans, and they are majestic courtyards in every sense and when you spoon, or meet these courtyards, you are urged along by lovers of so long ago.
