After waiting weeks for Cynthia to respond to no avail, Felicity pours out her heart in one final abortive attempt to win Cynthia’s sympathy.

Some say the writing’s on the wall for Todd.
Some say our love is just a dalliance.
My canvass is as narrow and as broad
as Ardour wrapped up in Ebullience.
Were your silence loud pleas, they would impress.
Were your pointed ignoring wounds, they’d run.
Still as art, I stand in state of duress.
Gone is all my joy; departed all my fun.
Whether or not you respond, it is moot.
I’m at sea with him now; adrift, alas!
Buried at sea, a treasure-ready loot.
But you’re high and dry, a lass full of class.
I wonder what your impression might be,
if I took arms against this troubled sea.

THERE IS NOTHING FOR CYNTHIA TO SAY TO HER...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! AND THE FACT THAT FELICITY IS NOT ENJOYING HER 'VICTORY' AS MUCH AS SHE THOUGHT SHE WOULD DOES NOT SURPRISE ME AT ALL. HMMMMMMM...I WONDER WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD POSSIBLY BE? COULD IT BE THAT OLD MAN 'CONSCIENCE' JUST WON'T ALLOW HER TO 'LET IT GO'? ALSO, TODD'S OBVIOUS HIGH OPINION AND DEFENSE OF CYNTHIA'S CHARACTER HAS NOT HELPED FELICITY TO FEEL TOTALLY SECURE IN HER STOLEN POSITION. BUT I FEEL NO SYMPATHY FOR FELICITY AT ALL...I THINK SHE IS GETTING JUST WHAT SHE DESERVES. UNTIL NEXT TIME...TAKE CARE, ROGER, AND THANKS. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Roger ~
Cynthia silence once again doesn't play into the venomous Felicity.
She has opened up a threat..if I took arms..
Good writing..
