love admired

For you are my flower

To hold you tenderly
in the palm of my hand
a precious endowment
supplest of velvet petals
blossoming afore my eyes
revealing tender petals

The blossom of thy beauty
for you are my flower
heart of my heart
an essence of finery
the one I have picked
among the sundry

My fair lady
gentle of nature
as this delicate orb
I hold within my hand
for you are my flower
budding afore my eyes

So lovely and heart-stirring, Carol. The "orb" makes me think of symbols. Love and best wishes,

This is beautiful, such elegance in the simple holding of your flower. A life essence that you give it to grow and unfold. Love my friend, supreme love to unfold those petals and it grows.

I have three beautiful flowers that are creative beauties! Two that sing like sirens and one that paints like no other. Their budding beauty matches their hearts as well...

This was beautiful...my friend!

Such a wonderful thought. But I'm still wondering what you can hold in the palm of your hand other than a dying flower. A baby panda, perhaps? A chick hatching from an egg?
