Balanced Moments
by Amber "V" Moonstone
9/2/12
Sunshine melting my grayness,
Ocean breezes soothing my stress,
Seagulls flying, lifting me to greater heights,
seashells found, grounding my spirit.
Just one day at the ocean,
turns my head to level ground,
planting one foot upon the shore,
brings balance once more.
Vistas bright with promise,
sand abrasive but soothing,
salty water, cleansingly purifying,
sanity found gratifying.
Searing heat, feeling comfort,
pounding waves, tender thoughts,
rocky waters, steadfast journey,
racing boats, wakeful moments.
"Sandy beaches,
salty ocean,
Radiant sunshine,
Balanced moments."
"Balanced Moments" (c) Amber "V" Moonstone

| CAN'T GET TO THE SEA AS I WOULD LIKE BUT, YES! NATURE IN OTHER FORMS IS ALL AROUND US TO REMIND US THAT 'HE' WHO BALANCED AND MADE ALL THINGS PERFECTLY, IS HE WHO KEEPS US 'BALANCED'...MOMENT AFTER MOMENT. A FINE WORK, AMBER. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS |

| Your poem held many pieces of magic in its lines for me. So many therapy-giving facets you placed in this poem, the reading of it feels nothing less than refreshing. Making the last stanza italicized was a plus, and underscoring your premise of 'balance, ' those elements given were perfect....rocky, steadfast, lifting and grounding, racing and wakeful moments. I enjoyed reading this. ~~ Diana |

Just one day at the ocean,
turns my head to level ground,
planting one foot upon the shore,
brings balance once more.
It's truly marvelous when we have such a place; mine is a serene green forest. |

The seaside can do that to you––make you whole from just the experience. One such day was the source of my poem, Relaxing. Relaxing is one of my most sought after poems on the Internet.
