My husband has been gone for two long months. I saw a rainbow after a thunder storm and I wrote this poem to honor his memory. |

At the rainbows end is a place where earthly departed go.
Beautiful colors of heavenly light fill that special land with their glow.
Lost loved ones came to meet you as you lingered at heavens door.
You hesitated for a brief moment, not wanting to finally go.
God urgered you to enter and leave your earthly cares behind,
so you crossed over, not knowing what you would find.
What a beautiful place awaited with endless skies of blue and fields of emerald green. Tranquil music filled the air. Angles were every where to be seen.
There are no cares or worries, peace and harmony abound.
Along with joy filled days, life eternal has been found.
We're born, we live our earthly life.
It's predestined for us all and written in the book of time, until we receive the final call.
Sometimes after a storm, a rainbow appears in the darkened sky. It brings beauty, light and splender to the beholders eye.
I know how much you loved rainbows and when I see one in the sky, I will think of you, and remember our love that was so strong and true .
Wait for me, my darling. Some day I'll cross over to the rainbows end and we'll be together forever, through the eternities of never ending time.....
