Can we afford to be content with answers, when there are always further implied questions?
But then one day
smoldering choices pondered
but never engaged
become antipathy's eruption
inner flames lick vacuous air
singed thoughts once stranded come alive
dancing atop the flames
Fog burns away
clarity appears natural
Valleys lay before us
landscapes yet to name
seeded by epiphanies
sprouting growth without poisons
awaiting harvest patiently
our chameleon mountain
the mirrored self
layering molten sides
storing echelon energy
awaiting survivor needs
liquid fire deep within
life's internment craving to be free
sleeps with one eye open
awaiting our ready
the mission is forever pondered
and especially the why
why this fluid thunder seldom spoken
chooses such unexpected moments
purging forth the painful past
or to scatter as life's compost
to gratefully become part of existence
feeding on itself
joining the cosmic continuum

|Wow. I need my surgeon tools here. This is a very appealing tableaux to me. I'm receiving it as time-release life stages filled with 'source'. Your language is hypnotic and the visions it brings surely do qualify for that post category default we sometimes forget to change: "action/thriller". Yes. It is as though you posess Gamma-ray insight into evolution of the human condition. I like your style here, especially no punctuation...it really works. The "While" segment got me with the "sleeps with one eye open/awaiting our ready." But "sad/brainwashed living" is mighty powerful, too...as well as those last three lines. I look forward to your postings, sure to enjoy even those taller than the fence over which my short self can see. Thank you for being here. ~~ Diana|
