Goig through this life soul searching and this is what i came up with.

Ladies  let's talk shall we about the burning question that's been on our minds for centuries.

  The definition Of a man

You know the hard working brothers who go out and do what needs to be done to take careof home, wife , and childern.

 The definition of a man

From the thugs brothers who of course get their hustle on to afford the good times and yes even the bling, bling.

    The definition of a man

We've dated a couple of dedicated brothers who'll bend over backwards to please the woman in their life.

  The definition of a man

Those would've, should've, could've brothers that sit around and wait on a good life then complain when it passes them by.

       The definition of a man

True men are hard to find or so we all say, yet we push so many decent brothers away.

The definition of a man is the puzzle of the decade.

my girls what are we truly looking for?

Sisters out there in the world I ask you what is your Definition of a man?

This spans all cultures sweetheart :)
I believe personally prior to the 1940's
all "men" had a sense of value (women too)
Although technology is good, our world moves
at such a fast pace most everyone wants to
jump on that train and look for excitement.
Too many have forgotten the value of love
and family units. This is a very heavy topic
and this is only a small part of it. Media,
music, television, movies, video games you name
it play a part in everything. Youth are drawn
from a very early age looking for that better
golden ring. It's not getting much better I
fear. Our children getting involved in gangs
look for some cohesion and acceptance when
things at home aren't the best.

I grew up in the 50's and 60's and I remember
a gang of white hoodlums called "White fence"
It was such a status symbol back then and they
were known as the bad boys. Women swooned over
these toughies but they were womanizers and users
but still the status symbol was thought cool.

Mind sets in general must change and society right
now is going downhill in a hand basket. Unemployment
rates don't help.

Bottom line all sister's and brother's of all cultures
need to pull together and it will take a lot of time
and a lot of hard work. We can be an example for our
youth.

Sorry I got off on a tangent.

Love and Light

This is very thought-provoking. I like the thought and your question at the end. I like that you have included positive and negative, for that is exactly the definition of us all...men and women. I see much life experience in these lines and you have well-expressed them. Especially catchy is your "would've, should've, could've" . . that is quite original material slipped into the center of your mural. My definition, since you ask through your poem, is a person who respects and creates rather than destroys. Thank you for this thought for the day. ~~ Diana
