Remember how it was after 9/11? It's time to come together, as a Nation, as a People. The UNITED States of America.

It seems that in times of great tragedy,
we come together as a Nation. One
people. Not divided by race. Religion.
The haves and the have-nots. We,
the People: the United States of
America. I remember after 9/11, how
we came together. We flew our flag
proudly. We reached out to our fellow
man. We didn't know a stranger. Our
hearts beat read, white and blue. What
happened? Seems we have forgotten:
Lord, that we woule be united, again.

| Karla, I hope we unite sooner than later - we are currently a nation of too many factions divide by ideologies foreign to the roots of our founding - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael |

| The US will recover from its current condition - why? Because you still have the spirit of greatness, of a united people; because you reject the madness of socialism and prefer to stand on your own feet than live off the labor of others- because you have pride! |

Great words, wonderful wishes along with a wonderful poem, Karla, my friend. But unfortunately we now have a president that-- short of the Civil War -- has divided this country and turned friend against friend as no other president before him.
We are a divided nation where common discourse can no longer be tolerated as the hatred of this man and what he stands for and what he wants to bring our country to is so strong, and rightfully so in my way of thinking, that I cannot talk of my feelings to either my brother or my eldest son, and neither dare speak of Obama to me.
