To those who know a little about witchcraft, I offer a humble apology for this corrupted metaphysical ditty. It's intended for amusement only and may primarily be of use to children. Still - it came to me!

Deathly burn the corpse-like stars

Bright stains upon the realm of Mars

At their gateway rides the moon

Chill goddess of white marble hewn

Casting light beyond the pale

Beyond the living lands she sails

Beyond all want of blood and life

Silver mistress, cold witch-wife

Pale goddess of the midnight world

Your icy radiance is hurled

Through the glow of silvered smile

Bright shards of fear upon the vile

Chill goddess born of sorcery

We worship and beseech now thee

Our enemies to put to flight

Their lands to sicken and to blight

Oh Silver Sorceress we implore

And beg, beseech thee and adore

Rip out their infants from the womb

Encase them in death’s icy tomb

Let Christians howl and god berate

Spit silver swords at those we hate

Slay those called forth from Darwin’s mire

Adam's children born of fire

In wonder at the sky they gaze

Their brutish eyes in wonder raised

At our chill goddess of the moon

Selene’s face at midnight’s noon

Extinguish now the spirit lights

Of fools who from the night take flight

Let the Beast now make his mark

And children feed upon the dark

All hail the moon all hail the beast

We drink their blood at your great feast

All hail our silver lady dear

Whose brightest radiance is fear

Amen!

I'm sure the children will love it, and the nightmares that follow. You have a wicked sense of humor.

High noon at midnights moon, soon it will come to pass, the fires will be cold, dark and chill, we all be in her spell, her will, and the children of fire be no more, soon, very soon indeed. An icy pen, cuts the light, the pages, a moonlight sonata in icy notes, well done, Keith, bless ya!

A spellbound runecaster between the (sheets) covers of the Book of Shadows. Balefire lit, cauldron of alchemy, athame and pentacle let the Wiccan coven take hold an' it harm none, do what ye shall. Blessed Be. Must be the season of the witch.

In spiritual kinship,

I think you did a great job here and I can truly see this being recited in costume in a candle lit room on or about Halloween...well done.

Actually this is very good Keith! I really like it.
Wiccan's have a sense of humor too, no worries.
I'm not a Wiccan though I'm a pagan :) But what
a wonderful flow and great visuals! Awesome :)
