A Picture..

A Thousand Words Worthy

An early view for growth
as she blossoms in white
before the buds of Spring
come to ripen her heart

Loveliest of trees..fruit so
sweet from the dew of
summer comes a garden
with rubies of red
for young lips offering
overflowing sense in
innocence of childhood

And yet change so
inevitable there would
be no more butterflies
that fade only to be
reborn for another
season into adulthood

Innocense and precious moments childhood gives to us.
Growing to adulthood with assurance. Sweet image to
embrace the love of childhood shared in your beautiful poem.

Your passing of innocence period continues. We all regret the fact that our children have to make that journey. Your words make it a sound little less scarey and a trifle reassuring for us parents.

It seems to me the older we get the faster the children grow up, as a grandparent it has amazed me watching my little angels grow in the wink of an eye.

from child to adulthood...such is the process of life. when wer're young we want to be adults and when we are adults we long for the yesterdays of youth. ah....such is the process of life. anna

To be young and innocent lasts but for awhile, then to move on to the season of adulthood. Would that we could be innocent for a bit longer. Nicely told, Lady Vivian.

I say we can still hold onto our youth
it is entirely up to us to keep those wonderful thoughts. But beautiful metamorphosis of the change all go through springing from youth to adulthood.

I enjoy the things children do, I have a color book and colors... all could. It is within our own power to enjoy.

Wonderful poem

Yes, Vivian, it seems slow when we are children
and then one day you become an adult with memories
of fruit and butterflies. Beautiful words...bringing
back my childhood.

This is one of the better poems I have ever read, Vivian, concerning youth as it metamorphoses into adulthood.
