Sweet Surrender
Reaching down he offered her his big hand
She gripped it and climbed up on back
Life-sized toy pony called Sweet Surrender
With rag mane and velvet covered soft tack
Turning he smiled and said hold on tightly
He said I know a place we need to explore
In his eyes she saw the days of tomorrow
When they kissed, both wanted much more
They rode through dreams undiscovered
Where romance once more flourished and grew
They rode above the rain of each past hurt
Taking time to explore each other all new
When they awoke the very next morning
They heard the pony clip clopping away
Sweet Surrender had left with the sunrise
Leaving them together forever to stay...
