Broken Teeth

I cut off her head to keep her
Violent.
My carrion, my thanatos dream,
My silent angel, my pretty witch.
Dirty vessel and sacred pain.
She was the point to my trailing vein.

A dry throat, broken teeth,
A scream takes the pill.
Her ivory tower holds my pieces together.
A single white kiss
And I let go.

I imagine my fall
Before it happens.
After I land.
As I change my mind.

She swallows my whole.
Look at me now.
See how I’ve grown.
