This poem defines me and is featured in my latest book The Sister's Lounge

Who are you to attempt to define me?

Am I not who you hoped I'd be

Or am I more that you expected

 Cause you can't handle me

My hips swing with greatness

 My mouth speaks with truth

My eyes glance with wonder

 My soul holds my youth

My heart beats for my future

 And skips for only you

My lips lock with magic

 My power comes in two's

My mind holds memories

 My thoughts have been used

My sanity played with my feet

 Ready to trade shoes

I'm the woman you never expected

 To be down for you

The one you hurt just to flirt

My loyalty leaves you confused

But see I’m a different type of woman

Built to win  and refuse to lose

Never met my kind

Why would you

 He only made one

So my work will never be duplicated

 Only excellently done
