A poem inspired by a spiritual healing course i attended last year..

No matter where you come from or who you are

Just ask and healing’s given the distance isn’t far

Add a name onto a healing list, do not be detered

All across the world an absent prayer is heard

The message is received in the world of spirit

Healing energy is sent from the ones who can give it

Those in need may feel a tingle, warmth or glow

Felt throughout their body this will let them know

Someone cares & thinks of them as they are in need

And love is being sent upon their heart to feed

Some may feel they need to receive it face to face

And feel it directly in a place they can feel safe

A church, a sanctuary or maybe their own home

So if they are too unwell it isn’t far to roam

A healer channels energy from their guides above

Through their helping hands giving care & love

To ease aches & pains or stress that they feel

Or listen to their troubles all this helps to heal

Healers have no prejudice to those in need

No matter who you are energy they’ll feed

Healing should not replace any operation

Or be an alternative to given medication

A healers role is to help whoever may ask

To compliment any treatment is their task

If you’re not sure you don’t have to be alone

It is always best to have a chaperone

Most healers don’t charge for the help they give

All they want to do is help others to live

Maybe a better life or knowing that love

They can receive directly from those up above
