Feeling 75% better...

Can you see me
From a distance

Do you not hear
My cries-
From my darkened
And misconstrue

Would you like
To subscribe
To this deep well
So dark,

Be myself
For a day

I think Not... ..

Dear Lord it must be going around. You know I have heard that fall is a harbenger of depression for many, being as the sunlight shrinks, and it is for me. Deborah...may I offer you a hand of friendship and shared support? Your write was much briefer than my recent offering but spoke so elequently, so grippingly, of exactly where I go as well. "Would you like/To subscribe/To this deep well" those lines carry much heaviness and angst. This poem is effectively conveying much emotion, and the last line "I think Not... ..." contains in it a slow head shake to be sure. Greatly expressive. ~~ Diana
