Join me I say, why not welcome some tea?
'Tis a glorious morn' for just you and me.
Stars put away, the moon in a box,
Open the windows and key all the locks.
Spreading my arms for day's sweet embrace,
Dressed in my best for playing a race.
Not to be black in the white of the day,
Calling for flowers to enhance me in play.
Oh my, what a sense of beautiful doom,
Brushing away all cobwebs of gloom.
Speak - for I hear all music of sound,
Bathed in the sunlight that dwells all around.
I cannot fear the sigh of the Grail,
To do, would be, to see that I fail.
On my journey of life, where I drink only tea,
In the light of the morn', set for just you and me.
