Prune Our Poetic Flower Ver 2

The spring flight blossomed bright summer floral displays,

As Autumn’s blight wilts buds into falling crisp compost petals.

Spring composition riding wings onto winter decomposition,

When summertime fades to germinate extended Indian summers.

Clip the stem bouquet past - that remains crumble under a vase of the future

That in the height of germination, another generation will soon pass.

Bushes will be pruned back with love, to blossom longer with tender care

That nature will hibernate the vine, after simmering grapes into wine.

Time grafts things together to ferment presence in effervescent clarity,

To then sip the bouquet fragrance savoring time’s taste buds.

Accomplished flavoring that toasts an inner warmth of the persona aura

That leaves over thyme will season youth’s exuberance –

While within aging rhyme - we prune our poetic flower.
