This poem is the wind, this reads wonderfully. You must have had the same weather the other night, the wind gusts were tremendous, like waves rolling through the trees . Perfect poem!

A time for me to get in out of the cold wind. You conjure up some windy cleansing leading to what just blew in to blow your mind.

The literal and metaphorical power in the gathering of the four winds is phenomenal, Amber, and you have certainly captured some of that energy in your invigorating lines. Gotta love those swirling vibrations which scoop all up in their palm and set us firmly on our feet (or head-over-heels!) again. I, too, loved the sand flowing free from your hand - another fine image of our life and times which both liberate and confine us. Thank you for your condolences and care about Willow, too. I know many share and understand such pain. xx

I liked all of this snappy poem which had so much to say, but I loved the part about the sand from your hand and blowing free. Great metaphor, never mind fantastic mind picture. Everything about this poem hit the spot with me.

Amber, I have always loved breeziness and wind. I never stopped to really think about why. My goodness, you did my work for me and did it so well. What a mood you set, a smile you pluck from me. Be well, Kathy
