| oh, Linda, I am breathless. This issue is such a problem. My ex hit me once and I had him hauled off to the military cop shop. Next day he was on his knees. It takes so much courage to believe that he WILL hit again and to turn and leave. To commit to something entirely against what you thought you had committed to. If you have gone through this, I am sorry that you did, and hope it is over. |

is what makes this poem real and so
very worthwhile - it speaks directly
and intimately to the reader and hits home..
all assault is horrible and so many women
and some men suffer terribly;

Well done Linda - get the word out!
No human being nor any animal deserves this kind of treatment. There is just nothing good about it. Get out now! Then seek help for the other person so they will not hurt another in this way ever again.
