i wrote this my senior year for a class assignment to use the color pink. so the first thing that was pink that came to mind was that stupid pepto bismol and how much i hate a stomache ache. |

Oh how i
dislike a stomache ache
for the only medicine
for me to take
is that dreadful
pink liquid
that eases my
symptoms
yet causes more
this liquid is found
within a bottle
and it comes in
two very destinct flavors
and two destinct colors
cherry and its usual bland
tasting pink
this liquid is
pepto bismol
its pink coloration like
bubble gum
its scent reminds me
of candy
but its taste causes
me scrunch up my
nose in distaste
for i don't know
how to describe
that bland liquid
in anyother way
except please
oh please i hope
not to get anogher
stomache ache

Strange, though whenever my stomach acted up, I always welcomed that thick, pepperminty flavor as it slid down my throat, eased the pain and soothed the burn.
