The meaning of Our Flag and my Dads commitment to the service. He died a WWII and Korean War veteran,Walter O Bellamy. Our ancestors wrote the Pledge of Allegiance, Frances Bellamy.
See our flag a flying, the red, the white, the blue,
The colors are so beautiful, meant for me and you.
Blue stands for battle, white for purity,
Red stands for blood that was shed for you and me.
See our flag a flying, the symbols stand for truth,
The wars were fought with vigor, the men were raised from youth.
The Stars and Stripes our union won in victory,
The years and battles numbered, all through history.
See our flag a flying, we honor with respect,
Our duty and allegiance we'll show with great affect.
By displayed adoration, at dawn and setting sun,
We finish with our hope, of uniting everyone.
See our flag a flying and remember day to day,
That the love of our own country was through God in his own way.
The flag is our reason it waves proud and for the free,
See our flag a flying, it was done for you and me.

|Thank God for our heroes of the past and present, who serve/served under the flag of freedom. There is beauty of remembrance and loyalty in every flying American flag!

|I hope there will come a day when we will no longer associate our flag with battle, blood, and worst of all, so-called, purity––our violent and regressive traits. Instead, I would prefer freedom, understanding, and fairness. That would color my world much better than our bloody past.

|What a beautiful testimony to our flag
and the meaning behind it for our country
I hope it never loses its meaning and
don't want to go into the current state
of political upheaval as to why.
Thank you for the lovely words Teresa
I hope all will pay attention
Love and Light

|The flag is under serious attack, it will survive, however because of men like your father.|
