“Nothing is more beautiful than you wearing only the moonlight and my kisses.”

Please look upon the moon tonight

and share with my green eyes
I know you’re oh so far away
but it’s full up in the sky

Let’s think of us and dream again
under the moon so bright
that night you held me in your arms
and held me oh so tight

Its silver beams our showcase
lake rippled for our eyes
just the simple glimmer
captured loving eyes

Your single water lily
seized within your arms
as wisdom does surround us
Captured by those stars

The wind was light lake air was fresh
with chill upon my skin
you pulled me in much closer
oh how are hearts did spin

We shared our dreams
we made our plans
the time is ever near

Two hearts which drew together
our time to share my dear

Every time you see the moon, you will think about the beautiful moments you shared.
You both will look at the moon from your own place and have the same thoughts
Until the moon will be witness of the moment of your reunion.

Beautiful romantic memories to share with the one you love Carolee

Yes the moon hasd been romantic symbol throught the ages and I have always loved water. Wonderful poem that appeals to my senses.

I ask the moon to share this kiss,
with my love so far way.
I know the night she shares my view,
and awaits togethers day.

Hopefully the rest of that poem isn't lost forever.

Stay well and keep writing
