You never knew
My feelings for you-
At first
I was discreet
Just looking at you
When you were
Looking away
You being so beautiful
I touched you
Every chance I had
Lightly on your arm
Or shoulder-
And when you wore perfume
It excited me...
I knew you were straight
Very straight-
How I wanted you...

Hmmm...a friend of mine always said "if it's on your mind, it must be on theirs too"...and I kind of agree. Though your friend might never have come to realize it, even less admit it.

How true, for most of us.

I'm sure the right one will come along. You seem like the type who would make the one you love very happy. Keep the faith!

Love ya!

How I know this yearning Deborah
sometimes what we want ends up
not being what we really need...
Universe knows, but the perfect
one will come in time, perhaps
not our time, but He knows when
for love is the strongest of all
and overcomes many things... and
when that same love is returned
in kind... you know you have found
the right one :)

Very honest, to the point poem, and forbidden fruit probably heightened all awareness of 'how you wanted'. I feel you are a very brave person. Be well, Kathy
