Innocence and experience.

Keep on launghing
My son, my son,
Look for the good things, my boy.
Around you may be trouble,
But you don’t need to know.
You keep on laughing, my boy.

Refrain:
You were born without nerves,
So let it stay,
Your life will be easier that way.
You were not born to serve,
So let it stay,
And the sunshine in your mind will have its day.

Keep on being Superman
My son, my son,
Look for the fun, my boy.
The adults may be crying,
But you don’t need to know.
You keep on laughing, my boy.

Refrain.

Keep on sharing
My son, my son,
Help if you can, my boy.
The adults may be taking
What they see as theirs,
But you keep on sharing, my boy.

Refrain.

You made me think of my own son, Paddy. I do engage and "feel" what your lyrics express. Thank you for sharing your gift. Love and peace to you,

I have always said that half of the people are building and sharing while half the people are tearing down and wearing. I would like my son to be like the former and not the latter, like your song so well portrays.
