Books by Shirley Beauty Houston
Misled in love, the wall of protection is erected yet again!
over took musical fantasies/
into the valves of a fragrant vessel/
in the crevices of an ocean cave/
listening to echoes reverberating facsimiles/
over a lifetime of moments/
where promises were made/
& burst like bubbles/
on the crest of the waves/
an orchestrated farewell she neither expected/
in the midst of maroon/
that drowned loveliness/
& renewed mistrust/
beause she must/
not be played again

|Nicely written, Shirley. You have given us a view of what lies on the other side of that "wallof mistrust," and it looks oh so enchanting!|
