A cool and rainy day
Is on tap
But I will spend it
Inside my cozy home,
Perhaps snuggled beneath
My favorite throw,
With a mug
Of hot spiced cider
Warming my hands,
A cat or two
Curled upon my lap,
And my dogs
Lying on the rug
Close by.
Though my bones
May protest the weather
I enjoy
These wet autumnal days
For I know
They are the prelude
To the clear, crisp air
And brilliant colors
That invigorate me.

Good warm nurishment, good warm friends, cozy perch, make the most of "bad" weather as you anticipate what it brings in its stead. Very nice, thanks. Be well, Kathy
