I can't open a thought

Like a can of soup.

But if I try to budge it,

It's as stubborn as a mule.

Slicing the air with my wit,

I charmed it like a snake.

Suddenly it came to life,

And it was free of my designes.

The little thought had friends,

That escaped with it.

They ran around my head,

Till I had to free them too.

Now they are all so merry,

As I gathered them in print.

They giggle and gurgle-

Free of me at last.

sometimes thoughts are like that George, they just sort of pop like a soda bottle top and scurry about as we attempt to figure them out -devious though they are times - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

Playful write, George. Gremlin-like and fun. But are we ever free of them? Ha* ~~ Diana

Let me guess. Once you've written these thoughts down, you are free to forget them.

Hah! Thank goodness they were the giggling and gurgling kind of thoughts, and not the dark ones that, to this day, beset me.
