Faerie Tale

It was a hazy lazy day

Down by the brook

Where I lay to rest.

Nothing better to do

That day by the brook.

So I feel asleep.

The dreams I had

Were so real

And when I awoke

I had a catch of fish

And I didn't have a pole

How could that have happened?

Brought them home to mom

And told her my tale.

It was the faeries,  she said.

I had to believe her

As there was no other answer.

I don't lay by the brook anymore.

George, I would have to return and nap again - I mean, free, fresh fish with no effort, who couldn't cope with that - I like this story - hope it is true too -- I wish you love and peace my dear friend -- Jon Michael

That was a great fairy story. And believe me I have heard and read them all with my daughter. Simply nice!

That was really cute. Who's afraid of the big bad fairies… Not I. If this really happened to you it would make for a great mystery story.

Beautiful poem, milord Poet... "Faeries Tale" sings to dreams and wonders; and does with seraphic grace and poetic sustainability. An exquisite poem.

Healthy blissed day!
