I can smell the beauty of Autumn
before it arrives, can you? It is
always in the air before the beauty
begins...

Most apt and timely, Deborah. This stirs memories for me for sure. I have posted some poems about fall here at AuthorsDen. It is my favourite time of year. Love and best wishes,

| I have many fond memories of jumping into raked (by my father) piles of leaves as a child with my brother and the neighbor kids. Fall is a bounty in many ways. 'As though each tree was in uniform'...a good line. I like it very mcuh. Be well, Kathy |

| Beautiful painting of melancholia, with font color a plus in this. The freshness in "As though each tree was in uniform" sparkles, Deborah. For me, what comes to the forefront, along with the trees in uniform, is the word "laughing." There is a child-joy essense in the word 'laughing." Pleasant feeling reading this. Thank you. ~~ Diana |
