 A Beginning...

 

A single rose

Struggling to bloom.

Morning’s frost

Has come too soon.

 

Warmth of yesterday

It tries to settle

That said...

Entices its petals.

 

Leaves are changing

Summer’s goodbye.

A single rose

Within my eyes!
