For the Innocent
Who did nothing to deserve the slaughter
I pray your suffering was brief
Your Deliverer was swift
And you rest easy
at one with God and the universe
Knowing you're missed dearly
And always remembered
I pray you receive another incarnation
Giving you a longer, richer life
With all the adventures and pleasures
you had yet to experience.

For the Damned:
Whatever your reasons,
You had guns.
They didn't.
That means you're cowards.
Now your names are cursed
And no other words will be wasted on you.

For the Guilty:
Those who jeered,
Ostracized, alienated,
Tormented, insulted, divided,
Abused, ridiculed, humiliated
For no other reason
Than to act tough or cool
or just have a good cheap laugh
For sowing the seeds of evil
And going home to eat a good dinner
Mindlessly setting the precedent for future horrors
I hope they shot you
Twice.

I'm sure this was very hard to write, for it was equally as hard to read. The pain is there, and the anger as well, Good Job,,Lisa
