she was colored
like
a hershey bar
just as
sweet,
her smile
froze and melted

from across the floor
her dark eyes
shined
as moonlit pools
and her scent
she said
was the wind
that seemed
only to play
in her hair
and i,
i was such a fool.....

I agree with Alexander. romance and love. so what if we're fools. It feels good when it's happening, and thats the best and important part. A very smoothe write

I like 'street' better than 'floor', but I know it was a dance floor and fools do rush in.

Love makes fools of us. But then we write beautiful verse that makes it worthwhile. Very good.
