Box Made of Flesh

daily routine

daily tracks

railroad tracked

corner backed

soul suppressed

love diseased

no sense of spirituality

connections lost

self-pity won

distraught box undone

plead and scream with everyone

self-image mirrored by health

floating in a sea of myself

a vast ocean swam

one-hundred leagues, waves crashing in

a lifesaver extended

only rejected

couldn’t find faith

faith finds you

extend strength from weakness

cocooned uncertainty

no one but me to believe

metamorphosis, unknown time

step by step down the cold dark line

with each step, flesh stretched

until the flesh box unlocks

the real self exposed

self-deception removed

Unique, strong expression--like especially
"step by step down the cold dark line
with each step, flesh stretched
until the flesh box unlocks
the real self exposed
self-deception removed"
