Our Fathers Care

OUR FATHERS` CARE
To my loved one`s now deceased
I pray you all will rest in peace
To lose someone so close to you
Can really break your heart into
Such a blur those days can be
Until the Lord sets us free
We lose all will to even be alive
We think no more we can survive
To see their picture in a room
Fills our heart with so much gloom
Oh the pain those weeks can bring
As in our ear their voice rings
A face forever etched in our mind
As we remember that last time
That we talked and laughed with joy
The time we fought over a silly toy
The pain will never just go away
But it will ease through out our days
Though everyday is a great test
We must remember all the best
But soon one day we will rejoice
When in our ear we hear a voice
When they tell us "Do not dispair
Now I`m in our Fathers` care"

Thelma, I loved this poem! As one who has lost loved ones, too, I can feel it well.
