I loved you,

But I saw you loving her.

Loving her like only you could.

I saw her loving you,

But only as a fool could.

She thought it was love, I knew it was folly.

She only thought of you,

When no one was present.

I thought of you,

When everyone was near,

You were my everyone,

But I was your no one.

I stood there now,

Watching her hate you,

Hating you as only a fool could.

She's hating you,

You're loving me.

I'm standing here,

Asking the question of if you do,

You never before but now you did.

We're standing here now,

Loving each other,

As only we can.

Feeling forever as only a day,

A day which never ends.

For we did not have a beginning,

Just a connection.

But just is not true ,

Just is only,

Only is singular,

We are two.

We are one.

We are, we are.
