and you said
"you could write me a poem,
i know you can"...

and i think
'oh, can i...can i write
you...a poem?'

and you wrote
and i saw...
and i read
of 'red wine'
and i fell right under
your word-woven spell

and so, words
and more words
now are coming and
coming and i can't
control what my
body is saying

so i widen these hips
and i open
my lips
and send hard
rains of
passion and fury

but..where?

the fury
my own, now
just take all i own
now ...oh God, now!

how? how?

if i really believed...
i could walk through
the night
and look down
as I lay myself
bare...

nothing more
naked
than here..

i am afraid

i am speaking the
moon through
your hair
as i tear
my own
heart
while
my body
cries out
and
i lay here
in
still-life
alone
in my bed
it is all in
my head!

so I'll
make all that's
dreamt of
a spirit..a poem
for you
here...

a poem

deep red and
drunk on a dare

and you said...?
