It is time to leave I, have a few minutes yet, I look across the room where my mom sits..My dad is pacing back and forth, his only son is going off to war. My mom, is trying her best for me not to see how worried she become
this can't be. She's looking over at my dad with such sadness in her eyes..
I know she is wondering, will her son die?

It's almost time for me to leave...My heart is heavy I feel nothing but grief...Wondering, will this be the last time I see my family...My mom is trying to be so brave..She hugs me..She tells me how much she will miss me...Then, all of a sudden, she loses it...She's crying hysterically...Oh, my God, you are our only child...Stay safe my son, we will see you in awhile...I love you son,,,May God, watch over and protect you, keep you safe till you return home again.

It's hard to pull away from her...That look is one of great despair, I look at dad, with tears in his eyes..I've never before seen my dad cry...I love my family and this isn't fair...I'm on my way to find a coward who hides and just doesn't care.. He, has his killers do his killing for him, while he hides
like the coward he is. He has so much evil within him, to take the lives of all those innocent Americans.

But now his time is coming...It won't be long...We'll find you. We're coming in. You, won't be killing anymore innocent Americans...Here we come...You can't hide..Our United States, flag is still flying high...I'm as proud as I can be...I'm proud to be an American, you will see.

You can run but you can't hide...The United States flag is flying high.. I'm
fighting for all the American people he will see...America, is my home of the land and the free.

An excellent heartfelt tribute, (((Betty))) so deeply moving. A friend of mine is in Afghanistan and I am so worried about him. It's so wonderful to hear from him when I do. Thank you for this tribute honoring our men and women of the Red, White and Blue. (((hugs)))
