she is just a toddler, a beautiful little girl,
and she's the joy of her family's world.

four years old, her differences are all too apparent,
and her handicaps have devastated her parents.

born with cerebral palsy, retardation, and is blind;
life so far for this pretty little girl has not been kind.

also has deafness, she can't see, speak, or hear;
and her handicaps bring her parents tears and fear.

they don't know what life for her will be like;
she'll probably never sing or learn to ride a bike.

she requires much care, and she is often very ill;
taking care of her needs, many hours does it fill.

she is loved by her sisters; they love her so much;
in fact, she is happiest at her family's loving touch.

yes, she is severely handicapped, but she's a child;
and her loving personality drives the boys wild!

cajun marie was born in korea; and she was adopted at the age of 2 years. she is the daughter of bill's older brother, marvin, and his wife, antoinette. cajun marie is bill's adopted niece, and she is four years old. she has lived longer than what doctors predicted, and she is a living little miracle. every day for her is a gift from god, according to her family. she is the second youngest of the seven sandusky daughters, and she is one of three that are adopted. the other four are marvin and antoinette's natural children.
