I don't mean to be rude,
I don't mean to be cruel,

what you do and what you say
doesnít change how I feel from day to day.

I'm sorry I hurt you,
Just don't hate me is all I ask of you.

I didn't mean to make you want to cry.
But I just canít tell a lie.

I just feel like its time to go.
Thereís not much more I can do,

People leave each other everyday,
and maybe they feel they cannot stay.

You said those words the ones I never wanted to hear,
but, eventually they came and all I felt was fear.

Why do u give me so much time?
When I would have settled for a simple hi

Why are you so good to me?
Why do you say the right words for me?
(At exactly the right moment--the right time)

Now few words are spoken
Silence finally broken

In my heart you will stay,
I'm really sorry it had to be this way.
